  Dr Gorden is an excellent oncologist. The waiting room time is long at times but he is well worth it. He takes time with his patients, answers all questions, very compassionate. He's an oncologist after all, would you prefer a short wait time with a mediocre doctor or longer wait time for a great doctor? It's your LIFE, after all.

  At first, we thought this might be the Dr. for are loved one, unfortunately, with time, our opinion changed. Our family felt he really didn't spend that much time with her and was totally unprofessional. She would have to wait hours before being seen which I felt was ridiculous, especially when you are there for a couple hours for chemo. He would see her as late as 3:00am when she was hospitalized, which I feel, he did just to avoid speaking with any family members. At one time are family waited until 4:30am just to speak with him. My sister had Inflammatory Breast Cancer was a rapid growing cancer. I feel we were not given all the information when things started taking a turn for the worse. Thank goodness for her family doctor who got us through this difficult time ,which I feel Gordon resented. He feels as though he is the only one with the right answers. I feel he is a self centered, egotistical man that can not do no wrong. I feel my sister's home care nurse knew more about here than he did and whenever the home care nurse called with a problem my sister was experiencing, he basically shrugged it off, blamed it on the chemo or pain meds, the ironic thing about this, is she would end up in the hospital with an infection. My sister was not eating and her family doctor had changed her menu,and wanted food to come up as requested by my sister. When Gordon found this out, his remark to my sister was"There is no doctor that would say you were malnourished". Really nice thing to say with all the things she was going through, although I have to laugh, because I don't think anyone would say he was malnourished! Her final days were spent in the hospital, and Dr. Gordon couldn't even give us his condolences. There is so much more that could be written,but it doesn't bring my sister back. What I am hoping for now, is that this review helps at least 1 person.
